This page explains what onemob.com stores in your browser, why, and how to change your mind. It covers this marketing site and blog only — the OneMob application at app.onemob.com is covered by the Privacy Policy.
1.What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — do the same job with a different mechanism. We use both, and this page treats them the same way, because the question that matters is what is stored and why, not which API stored it.
2.Strictly necessary storage
These are set no matter what you choose, because without them the site cannot work correctly or securely.
- Session cookie — keeps a form submission attached to the browser that made it.
- CSRF token — proves the contact form was submitted from this site and not from somewhere else.
- Consent choice — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking. It is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
3.Analytics
Analytics only run after you accept them. Until then they are loaded in a denied state, which means no analytics or advertising identifiers are written.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics — how many people read a page, which links they click, and how far down they scroll. Set by Google.
- PostHog — the same questions, aggregated by product analytics. Set by PostHog.
We do not sell what these tools collect, and no advertising network is embedded in this site.
4.Third-party content
Videos on this site are not loaded until you press play. Up to that moment the page shows a still image served by us and no request reaches the video provider. Once you press play, the provider (for example YouTube or Vimeo) can set its own cookies under its own policy.
5.Changing your mind
The banner appears the first time you visit, and your choice is remembered. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again. Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies for a site entirely; doing so will not stop this site from working.
