This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how OneMob, Inc. and its affiliates ("OneMob," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and share the personal information of professional users of our products. It applies to:
- The website at https://onemob.com/ (the "Site")
- The OneMob web application
- The OneMob iOS and Android applications
- The OneMob Chrome application
- The OneMob email plugin and add-in
It also applies to any other site we operate that links to this Policy. It does not apply to any service that displays a different privacy notice.
1.Scope & Consent
By logging into our platform, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Use. You acknowledge that OneMob may store the information you enter or upload, and that when you record a video, OneMob may retain the resulting audio and video files. That content may include personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive personal information (SPI).
You stay in control of what you share. Our security settings let you restrict who can access the content you keep in OneMob, and we will never share your content publicly without your permission.
2.Information We Collect
We collect information in a few ways:
Information you give us. This includes your name, mailing address, email address, phone or fax number, username, password, demographic details such as gender and profession, and any other information you choose to provide on our Site or in our apps.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from third parties and combine it with information we collect through our Services.
Information collected automatically. When you use our Services, we automatically record information about you and your device — for example, your operating system, browser type and language, the page you visited before ours, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, access times, and how you interact with our Services.
3.Cookies & Tracking
We use "cookies" — small data files stored on your device — to collect information. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay until deleted) to make your experience more personal and interactive.
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to link these activities to other personal information they or others hold about you, including by matching your email or home address. We (or providers acting for us) may then send marketing to those email or home addresses.
You can opt out of this advertising at any time by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout. Most browsers also let you remove or block cookies, though doing so may affect how the Site works.
4.How We Use Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except with your consent or as required by law. We use personal information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve our websites, products, and services;
- process and deliver contest entries and related rewards;
- respond to your questions and provide customer service;
- send notices, invoices, technical alerts, updates, security notifications, and administrative messages;
- send information about promotions, upcoming events, and other developments — ours and those of select partners;
- link or combine your information with other personal information;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; and
- provide the products and services you request.
5.How We Share Information
We may share personal information in these situations:
With your consent. We may share information with third parties for their own marketing, subject to their privacy policies, when you allow it.
Business transfers. We may share information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale or transfer of all or part of our business or assets.
Legal, protection, and safety. We may share information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests and legal process, protect the rights and property of OneMob and others, and act in urgent situations to protect the safety of any person.
With our workforce and providers. We may share information with staff and service providers who need it to operate the Services.
Aggregated or anonymized data. We may share aggregated or anonymized data, which does not identify you, with third parties.
6.Your Choices
Our marketing emails include instructions for opting out. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you non-marketing messages about your account and our business relationship. You can ask us to update your contact preferences, stop sharing your information with third parties, or change your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 13. Your browser settings also let you remove or block cookies, though many browsers accept cookies by default until you change them.
7.Data Retention
How long we keep your personal data depends on the type of data and why we process it. We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
8.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can find more detail on our security practices at our Trust & Security center.
9.EU/UK Rights (GDPR)
Because many of our customers interact with EU residents, we maintain a policy aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR gives EU residents the right to know what data is collected and how it is processed, and to request that their data be deleted. We have built an internal tool that lets us locate, identify, and delete data relating to EU residents. To exercise these rights or ask questions, email legal@onemob.com.
10.California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share about you;
- access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising);
- limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and
- not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising described in Section 3, visit https://app.retention.com/optout. You may also submit any CCPA request — including to know, access, correct, delete, opt out, or limit sensitive personal information — by emailing legal@onemob.com. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
When we provide services to our customers, OneMob generally acts as a "service provider" and processes consumer personal information on our customers' behalf. If your relationship is with a OneMob customer, please direct your access or deletion requests to that customer, and we will support them in responding.
Where we offer a financial incentive or product enhancement in exchange for personal information, we do so only in a way reasonably related to the value of that information.
11.Canada (PIPEDA & CASL)
We are committed to meeting the requirements of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Please read this Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described here.
12.Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact legal@onemob.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
