Windows
You can control which app is allowed access to your camera from Windows Settings > Privacy > Camera/Microphone. However, there is no way to add new applications to this list (as of March 2019).
Microsoft relies on the application developers to control camera permissions. If an application does not appear on this list (such as Chrome), please check the permission setting within the application.
Mac
- Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen
- Click System Preferences
- Click Security and Privacy
- Under Privacy, select Camera/Microphone, and select the apps you would like to give access to
